Oh how I hated lodging our Golden Retriever girls at a local kennel during travel to Canada 1994; necessitated due to the chance of possible rejection at the Canadian crossing. After touring through a few kennel facilities I chose one which seemed suitable. Goldens are typically eager to please, so my fret about it all soon faded.
Upon our early 'unannounced' return, my eyes sadly welled-up to see our dear pups in their neglected kennel, lethargic and unclean. Unfortunately this facility continues to do business in Meridian, well covering up several incidents.
Once home, both dehydrated girls drank a tremendous amount of water which helped to bring them out of confusion. Clearly my research had been inadequate, questioning future options.

alternative has arrived!
It didn't take long to realize I had to do something for the sake of other pets. With evident preference for animals over people, my inspiration was vivid... caring for pets in their own home! Little known in 1994, my venture would be Professional and Licensed. As an LLC, my objective would provide superior comforting pet care, and with no employees to oversee I would enjoy pets all-to-myself!

- Avoided facility-hour inconvenience for pet parents.
- Absolute familiar pet comfort!
PawsWatch didn't materialize overnight; but when word did get out, it took off in a BIG way with all sorts of purring and wagging! I had found my niche and never looked back! 💚
